Love Photos

Final Photo: Index Print: CONCEPT: love MESSAGE:   dying love EMOTIONAL CONNECTOR: the feeling that no matter how much you try to patch your love for someone up, it'll always burn out in one way or another. You cannot make it last forever. DYNAMIC ARTISTRY: the tape holding the paper heart together symbolizes the fact that you can try to keep your love patched together. the letters are the initials for two people who love each other. the fire symbolizes that love will always burn out in one way or another. it is inevitable.

Photoshop Tutorial Quest

1.) Retro photo {attempt 1} (original) This was my first attempt at the retro photo. It looks okay, but i feel like it does not mach with the examples shown in the tutorial. It just looks like a red filter was placed over the original picture. This effect can be put on any picture and it would look retro.       {attempt 2}  (original) This was my second attempt at the retro photo. I think it looks better than the first one i did. Dreamy Effect (original) I tried to put a lens flare effect on this picture, but it didn't work out as well as i thought it would. It just looks like a simple gradient. 1st Semester Reflection

PART ONE: QUALITY OF WORK During the first semester, the quality of my work was an uneven mix of a lot of things. Some final products were decent, while others could have been better. I could have chosen better subjects in some projects. I'd like to think that I paid enough attention to the objectives for each project.Almost every project was turned in on time, except for a few ones that were uploaded only a day or two late. The index prints always had enough pictures (24 to be exact). Something I could have worked on was going beyond my first ideas. Some of my ideas lacked creativity but i still stuck with them because i didn't think id be able to think of anything else. EFFORT During the first semester, i wasn't always giving off my best effort. I was not always actively taking pictures, and I didn't plan for my projects for very long. I avoided a lot of photographic ideas that I thought would be difficult because i did not think i would be able to create th...
